The fair is such a mix of people its kind of like the fair, you can get about every food on a stick and you can get every type of people. The problem is not all of us like fish. Some are vegetarians, some just don’t like the taste or the texture so what do we do when we incounter fish in our lives? If life was like the fair we just wouldn’t go to that booth, but sometimes the fish is our, boss, co-worker, significant others best friend, and so on.
I believe we need to have some level of tolerance. I’m not saying we need to think that what they do or how they live is right. But we do need to understand that they also live on this planet and we were created to love one another. How that ‘fish’ lives might not follow your values or beliefs so show them that through love not hate. What is that saying? you “win more flys with honey.”People will never want to become ‘like you’ if all you do is preach and nag.

Remember this project?
Its my super cool homemade whiteboard with interchangeable back grounds. Well I was going to make a bigger one but it didn’t work out. Here are some things I learned about making a glass frame white board.
#1 Don’t let the frame you bought fall off a bench and crack the glass.
#2 Don’t Mod Podge paper to the back side of the glass to repair the broken glass. If you do try to make sure to use a credit card to squeeze out all the excess and spread it out evenly.
#3 Be careful when working with staple tabs if you push down too much it will crack the glass…more.
If you do happen to do all these things like I did you get stuck with a pretty red frame with white paper to write on instead. I’m going to buy a piece of glass to fit in and fix it later but for now I’m stuck with this to write my deep freeze inventory on:

My office is so bad that I don’t even want to copyright these pictures with my name on it…its sad check it out:
Here is my desk its 10 feet long and I still never have enough room….

So yeah my office needs a little help. I started working on it tonight. Honestly that desk is after I picked it up a little. I’m ashamed to admit that. So the plan is to use what I have buy from second hand stores and garage sales and get it under control!

In Thoughts on Thursdays
Lets face it we all make mistakes some big and some small (at least in our eyes but that that is a whole other post.) So when our spouse or significant other comes to us for help or just to talk about it dont’ rub it in more. They have come to you and have admited what they did was wrong, or dumb or silly (depending on the circumstance) they don’t need you to rub it in more.
I have to be honest here, I’ve been having problems with my alarm clock for the last few months, until today it hasn’t caused me to be late just in and extream rush. But this morning I didn’t want to call MAC, I was embaressed this isn’t supposed to happen to 27 year olds who have been in the professional world for over 6 years…his reaction was a big deal to me he could either be annoyed and rub it in, or be supportive and help me figure out a system.
Show them support, help them out so that it dosen’t happen again, but please don’t rub it in.
PS I would like to say that MAC called me this morning to make sure I was awake and on my way to work, Thanks MAC!

It’s not well composed, its definitely a snapshot but This is my current favorite thing, a free grill from our chiropractor! We were without for 3 weeks or so and it was horrible.
I should point out that this is his old ‘broken’ grill and that is why we got it for free. The electronic ignition doesn’t work so we have to use a lighter….umm ok that is fine with me….
