Fall is here.

I made this cute Subway tile a few weeks ago, but didn’t display it because I wasn’t ready for fall. Well with the amount of leaves in my front yard I would say there is no denying it now…Fall is here. So with that in mind. I made a few more decorations for the house.

First I made the reusable wreath I found at Scraps and Sribbles. She made all of her flowers I used both fake mums (with their leaves) and rolled burlap roses. They are super easy, just cut a strip of burlap and long stitched across the middle then I pulled the string to make a ruffle and rolled it up sewing the bottom, pretty simple huh? I just glued everything to a piece of felt and Velcro-ed it on. Then I can replace it in the future! Easier, greener, cheaper and better for storage.

Then I decorated the hurricane I have upstairs. I like it because with the lid its puppy proof. These are all things I  had laying around. Rocks from a previous trip to the great lakes, leaves from an old wreath that is looking pretty sad and the flower I originally bought for the wreath but decided not to use.

I’m still waiting for the leaves to change colors here… But those decorations you made definitely have an autumn feel to them :) They’re so simple but they totally scream “Fall”. I love them :)
