Very cool you got one! We had a huge tote for streamline in NJ and here again in KS. Difference is in Jersey they only took Cardboards, paper, No. 1 and No. 2 plastics ( not all either) and glass of course. Here in Kansas I am a texting fiend!! SO much so that I actually got a letter for trying to recycle things I probably shouldn't have thrown in there. Lol. BUT here they recycle everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, except for Styrofoam. Our recycle tote is always overflowing and our trash bin is maybe half full every week.

Well at least it was a race to remember. Glad everything with you and the baby are okay. I ended up walking my 3k while wearing Kaylie in the baby carrier. It was hot and a bit humid but it was a good walk. Of course, I'm feeling a bit out of shape and my legs are a bit sore from all the activity yesterday but I feel pretty good :)

Whoa, I got scared for you just reading thing post. I completely understand what you are going through because when I was around 30 weeks, I fell off my bike while riding it to the supermarket. Like you, I was 99% sure I didn't fall on my stomach and I was pretty banged up everywhere else. I was so worried that I might have hurt Kaylie too and so I was vigilant in checking for spotting or any pain and for her movements. Luckily, I had a doctor's visit that week too and when he told me every thing with baby was good, I had an enormous sigh of relief. Pretty much after that incident, I was banned from riding the bike since my center of balance is off because of the belly. I'm really glad you and baby Apple are doing ok. I'll be thinking of you in the coming 10 weeks and hoping that you'll have a safe and healthy delivery!

Happy baby shower to you! Baby showers are the best because you get so much stuff that you don't have to get it yourself. That's why we waited until afterwards to buy things for the baby :)

Ah, the "yes" girl. I'm one of those too and Jason is always sitting me down and giving me the talk about how I don't need to say "yes" to things if I don't have the time or the energy to to things.

It's a bit easier for me to be family focused with Jason and the kids since they are the only stable things I have here in Japan. Friends come and go a lot which is an unfortunate part of the expat lifestyle. I still do occasionally get requests for things (from family and friends) over email or skype but they're usually computer related things that I can do in my own time without the constant nagging and complaints.

I agree with you about using cleaning products that have all those hazard warnings. I try to avoid those as much as I can since the ones in Japan uses chlorine in a lot of their cleaning products. I'm not a big fan of that smell. I've been trying alternative "green" products from our international markets but they do cost more but at least it's safe (according to them).

There is another product that I've read about in one of the blogs I follow that I'm really curious about. It's called e-cloth (http://www.ecloth.com/) and according to their website, their clothes can clean with just water and chemicals are not necessary. The blog that mentioned this product also agrees that the e-clothes clean amazingly well with just water. Too bad they don't ship outside of the US but since we're visiting California in June, I'm going to make sure that I order a few of these to bring back with me :)
